A time of change...
The Roaring Twenties was a time in the 1920's, when America, and other developed countries, became modern. Politics became like they were before World War I, jazz music became more popular, motion pictures were revolutionized, the flapper redefined what a woman is like today, and the art deco style became prominent. Many Americans started to use automobiles, telephones, and electricity more in their daily lives. Industry boomed, and the demand for products increased. The media began to focus its attention on celebrated sports players and movie stars. Cities began to root for their home team, and fill movie theaters. In the US, women were given the right to vote for the first time. Although, the Wall Street Crash of 1929 ended the era, and the Great Depression settled in.
